Getting started

Create your store and take it from empty to your first order.

1. Create your store

Click Create your store from the login page. The setup wizard asks for:

  • Your store name and a URL slug (this becomes your store's subdomain).
  • Your default currency and country — you can change the currency later.
  • Your own name, email, and password for the owner account.

You'll get a verification email — confirm it to unlock the dashboard. A starter theme, default shipping zone, and basic tax settings are already in place, so there's nothing blocking you from adding a product right away.

2. The Getting started checklist

Your dashboard's home page shows a checklist while your store is new:

  1. Create your store — done automatically once you finish the wizard.
  2. Add your first product — a name, a price, and one variant is enough. Set its status to Active so it shows up on your storefront, and give it stock (or tick "open stock") so customers can actually buy it. See Products & catalog.
  3. Get your first order — share your store link (shown right on the dashboard) and place a test order yourself to see the full checkout → confirmation → fulfillment flow before real customers do.

3. Go live

Until you explicitly launch, your storefront shows a branded "coming soon" page to visitors — search engines are told not to index it either, so there's no rush. Open Launch in the sidebar to see your launch checklist:

  • Store identity (name, logo, currency) — see Store setup.
  • At least one payment method connected.
  • At least one shipping zone and rate.
  • Basic tax configuration.
  • Optionally, a custom domain — see the Domain tab under Settings.

Required steps show a blocking warning until they're done; everything else is optional polish. Once every required step is checked off, the Go live button appears. Clicking it swaps the coming-soon page for your real storefront immediately — no redeploy, no waiting.

4. Run the store day to day

After launch, Home prioritizes the work that needs attention. Use Orders for fulfillment and returns, and open Orders → Abandoned checkouts to review incomplete purchases. Eligible stores automatically send a secure recovery email about an hour after abandonment; staff can also send a fresh one-time link manually.

Where to find this

Sidebar → Launch. The same page also shows your store's live URL and SSL status once a custom domain is connected.
